FileFish Inc. was an emerging company in next-generation content management and data access solutions. The company was founded in 1999 by Edwin Seng Eng Ong and Aleksandra Vikati and funded in November 2000 by leading venture capitalists SOFTBANK Venture Capital and Innovacom (France Telecom's venture division). FileFish Inc.'s technology was developed by a select group of engineering veterans from Silicon Valley.

On June 11th, 2003, Oracle Corporation acquired substantially all of the assets of privately held FileFish Inc. With the completion of the asset sale, Oracle Corporation plans to incorporate FileFish products into its software offerings. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
